If you are using Microsoft Outlook to access your Exchangeaccount, you have access to the Global Address List (GAL). For configuration details, see Set up Outlook for macOS to access your IU Exchange account.

To search the GAL, choose one of the following options:
- After clicking People, enter your search term in the 'Find a Contact' search field. Alternatively, click Address Book to bring up a separate search window.
- While composing a message, initiate a search by typing in the 'To:' or 'Cc:' field.
- At the end of the 'To:' field, click the address book icon to bring up the search window.

To improve results when searching the GAL, enter the last name followed by a comma, and then the first name. You can also search using an email username.
