The Muxy Ticker allows streamers to customize dynamic text labels that are displayed in OBS. The most common usages for dynamic text labels are for displaying things change during the course of a stream like a list of recent subs, followers, or the name of a top donator.
Muxy Ticker: Dynamic Text Labels & Scrolling
If you've ever wanted to stream using your iPhone camera. We've got you covered. We've tried all the apps that let you do it over wifi, but they weren't fast enough, so we created an app that not only streams video & audio over Wi-Fi, but also over a low-latency wired USB connection to your mac and pc using our OBS.
I'm new to streaming and trying to stream on my Mac laptop with OBS and my Elgato Game Capture HD but am running into issues. The frame rate is stuttering or becoming slideshow quality, especially when things are going fast on screen. The audio is misaligning and sometimes becoming a scratchy mess of sound or looping in on itself.
Navigate to the Desktop App page (https://u.muxy.io/dashboard/ticker).
Select the “MUXY TICKER FOR WINDOWS” button to download the Ticker installer.
Run the Ticker installer.
When prompted, log in with your Twitch account.
The first tab you’ll see is the “Status” tab. Here you can see status updates regarding your Ticker text files.
Select “Settings”. Here you can select any of the text files from the drop down menu and alter the presentation format for that file. You can also change your text file output directory from this tab.
Open OBS and click the “+” button in the “Sources” box.
Select “Text”.
Name your text source, and select “OK”.
Select the “Read from file” checkbox.
Select the “Browse” button and navigate to the desired Ticker text file. (If you’ve forgotten where the Ticker text files are located, you can see what folder they are in on the “Settings” tab of the Ticker. The default path is C:Users<currentusername>Muxy)
Select the desired text file, select “Open”, and then select “OK”.
To make the text scroll in OBS Studio, right click your text source in the source window and select “filters” from the menu.
Click the “+” button on the filters panel and select “Scroll”. From there you can configure your scrolling options for your text source.

OBS Link is a small program that lives in the menu bar of your Mac. It grabs the incoming video from your Elgato Game Capture HD60 S and converts it to NDI. The NDI signal can then be captured in OBS Studio using the NDI plugin. Latency of the game going to OBS Studio via OBS Link is around 250ms. This will vary with your system and setup.

Changes
Hardware accelerated decoding on the media source is now disabled by default rather than enabled by default. Some users use a ridiculous number of media sources, and turning on hardware accelerated decoding for every single one of them could cause some stability issues.
When running OBS as administrator, games will now be much less likely to cause lag to the video of OBS (we will eventually get this improvement working without requiring administrator, currently this does not work unless OBS is running as administrator)
Fixed an issue where media keys on your keyboard could trigger video/audio to stop/start playing in browser sources
Fixed an issue where part of the OBS output would be green when using OBS from a VM
Fixed an issue where stingers could sometimes cut off prematurely before they were finished
Fixed a freeze that could happen when using NVENC and changing the bitrate while in use while lookahead was enabled
Fixed a bug where OBS could sometimes stop recording due to lack of disk space despite having plenty of disk space
Improved the playback accuracy of media sources and stingers (this was the same issue that caused stingers to sometimes play back a bit erratically)
